Hungry for God?
The little girl saw the Bible on the coffee table, "Whose book is that?" Her mother replied, "That is God's book!" To which the girl responded, "We ought to give it back, we sure aren't using it."
It doesn't matter if you've read the Bible 100 times. Every time you read it, you're a different person. God gives you new insights and a new outlook on life. Here's my prescription: Set aside some time each day-make it a discipline. Go to a Christian bookstore and look at the various study Bibles. Check out those with helpful study notes. Get one that works for you. Watch how God renews your strength day-by-day. It's the way He provides food for life.
"Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that man was created for."
Ecclesiastes 12:13b (TEV)
