Church Doctor Ministries is a full-service church consultation ministry dedicated to helping Christians and churches become more effective for the Great Commission, to make disciples of all people. Services range from a 1-hour telephone consultation to the Diagnostic Consultation, which thoroughly analyzes the local church. Consultation efforts also focus on specialty areas like church government, worship, and staffing. Church Doctor Ministries' goal is helping churches through transformational change toward renewal and revitalization. The ministry also provides strategic planning for denominations and judicatories. This ministry has been named twice by independent analysts as the best of its kind.
Church Doctor Ministries specializes in focusing on the issues behind the issues in order to help congregations better understand their unique DNA and culture. Equipped with this new understanding, congregations can seek God's will in growing a healthy and vibrant community reaching more lost people for Jesus Christ.

On a committee?
Some frustrated church member was probably the one who said, " A church committee is the only life form with 12 stomachs and no brain!" It sometimes feels that way, doesn't it? Some committees can serve a great purpose. The key to creating those committees is a commitment to excellence.
Here's my prescription: The next time you volunteer for a committee at church, begin by discussing your primary purpose. Make sure everyone's clear, focused and on the same page. Then discuss your commitment to excellence. Establish a level of excellence that will keep you from the doldrums of the typical church committee. Agree that when the purpose is completed or the excellence falls, you'll disband. God deserves our best. Let it start with you!
"...we each have different work to do...we belong to each other, and each needs all the others."
