Are you a good ancestor?
Did you know you have incredible power to shape the next generation? It doesn't matter whether they're young people who know you from a distance, or your very own kids. Most likely they'll follow in your footsteps. It won't be based on what you teach, but on who you are. That's what makes the difference.
Want to plant some powerful seeds in the next generation? Here's my prescription: Plant the seeds of your Christian faith. Let them see you live it daily. Not the plastic kind that hides the problems. But real faith that cries and struggles, yet trusts God through good times and bad. Start today to be a good ancestor. Be real, and be a powerful influence to the next generation.
"You must do your utmost...and see that your faith carries with it real goodness of life."
2 Peter 1:5 (Ph.)
